“I wanted to find a place big enough for a house party for family and friends. The Manor House was perfect for the 17 of us… a huge, old ( ….so expect creaky floorboards etc!) farmhouse with masses of character, plenty of room and a kitchen which was just waiting for large family gatherings with its long farmhouse tables, Aga, large fridge, dishwasher and plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Despite it being a very old building, we always had hot water when needed and the heating kept the whole house warm in the evening. The bedrooms were spacious with good linen and towels (the twin was the only disappointment as small and NO window!) The gardens were lovely and my grandchildren had a fantastic time exploring inside and out.
I could not have wished for a better place to celebrate my birthday during the w/e of Feb 22nd.
