“We stayed in The Old Feedhouse which was delightful, fully equipped holiday accommodation for two people at Manor Mews which is just outside Fakenham. Staff were friendly and helpful, my wife and I would rate it excellent.”

“Recently stayed here with my family and 2 dogs and it was lovely. The cottage itself is perfect for a week away, the facilities are great, the bedrooms warm and cosy, and the log fire tops off the feel of the house. Property includes a dishwasher (which comes in handy), and the owner includes really sweet touches, like a bottle of milk in the fridge, teas coffees etc. I would definitely recommend this, and hope to come back to stay in one of the other cottages, maybe with a hot tub next time :)”

“I just wanted to thank you for the most wonderful stay. It was our first time off of work this year and was exactly what we needed. Everything was so easy and relaxing. We’ve done a few self catering accommodations before and none were anywhere near as set up as yours. You had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was the perfect touch. We cannot wait to come back and stay.”

“We had a lovely 4 night stay in the Piggery at Manor Mews. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 dog. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The garden is a good size with a bbq. The teenagers were relieved that the wifi worked well! Manor Mews is in a good location for accessing the North Norfolk coast, with the beautiful beach at Brancaster an easy 20 minute drive away.
My only comment for improvement would be to put a proper stand up shower with a screen in the second bathroom.”

“7 of us and 4 dogs, we all had a amazing time 21st-27th December. The facility was very nice and clean. We had 2 small issues and they were resolved very quickly which was amazing. Lovely dog walk near by as well. We would definitely return. Stables was plenty big enough for all of us and was a great way to spend xmas. Visited brancaster beach on boxing day which was unreal highly recommend”

“My family and I stayed in the milking parlour for a long weekend end of August – beginning of September. It was wonderful. A private space with our own gated entrance. We had use of our own hot tub and garden. There was a wedding during our stay but it did not disturb us at all. We were all asleep by 10.30pm so didn’t even hear the wedding reception to have been disturbed by the same and I am a light sleeper so was pleasantly surprised.
We took a trip to Fakenham and ate in the Wetherspoons… There are walks that can be taken around the area but as one of my children was 10 and we there was a busy road just up from where we stayed we chose to pick blackberries instead which was fun.
Thank you to the hosts for being on the other end of the phone and for having such a lovely place.
If I were getting married I would seriously consider this gem.”

“My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night break at Manor mews staying in the Sheepshed property. It was fantastic.
We booked it the day before we travelled and were given a very generous discount.
The property itself was within its own secluded courtyard and wasn’t overlooked. It contained everything we needed for a self contained break, the furnishing was excellent and the bedroom was spacious with a huge comfortable bed. On what was the hottest week on record, it was great to get back to the property and make use of the outdoor jacuzzi.
When we arrived there was no hot water, but a call to the on site contact, Shirley, and this was remedied within the hour. We were delighted with our stay at Manor Mews and would highly recommend it.”

“Our daughter was married there in March and it proved a simply fantastic experience from the magical barn to the classy, attractive accommodation. All the staff were so helpful and attentive but special mention must go to Shirley, Janie and Mercy for ensuring it was a wonderful weekend for everybody.”

“We booked this very last minute. We didn’t think we would find our ‘ideal’ place, but now wrong were we. We were sooo lucky to stumble across this place. We travelled as a family of 6 with our 2 dogs. We were lucky enough to be allocated to ‘The Piggery’. A converted barn all on one level, complete with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area/kitchen. We wanted a safe garden for our dogs and this place totally and utterly hit the spot. Located in a rural location but with very easy access to the surrounding big area along with shops to get supplies around a 4 minute drive away. Our garden over looked a field with chickens and ducks wandering around. It was such a calm, safe and idyllic place. We absolutely loved it and I am already wanting to rebook there again. Will be recommending to friends and family alike. There are places there just for 2 and various other options for larger groups. I see that they also host weddings there, and what an amazing place that would be to get married. Loved it. If you’re heading to Norfolk, it’s an absolute must!”

“Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Manor House, celebrating our friends 70th. Such a comfortable and warm house, plenty of space, well equipped. Bed linen beautiful, lots of hot water and very comfortable beds. The grounds are beautiful and several walks to be had. Highly recommended. Hope to try one of the cottages at a later date.”

“I wanted to find a place big enough for a house party for family and friends. The Manor House was perfect for the 17 of us… a huge, old ( ….so expect creaky floorboards etc!) farmhouse with masses of character, plenty of room and a kitchen which was just waiting for large family gatherings with its long farmhouse tables, Aga, large fridge, dishwasher and plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Despite it being a very old building, we always had hot water when needed and the heating kept the whole house warm in the evening. The bedrooms were spacious with good linen and towels (the twin was the only disappointment as small and NO window!) The gardens were lovely and my grandchildren had a fantastic time exploring inside and out.
I could not have wished for a better place to celebrate my birthday during the w/e of Feb 22nd.
Many, many thanks.”

“Stayed at the old dairy, excellent place to stay, with jacuzzi. Beautiful place with great atmosphere. Owner very friendly,. I would stay there again. Just in land enough to be close to various attractions. Welcome pack gives all info about site and attractions near by.”
